Initiative, organised by NNNGO with support from USAID—US Agency for International Development and Palladium: Make It Possible and Nigeria Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement—Nigeria SCALE. The CSO Working Group at the Hybrid Event unanimously agreed that CSOs need to begin self-regulating while still being mindful of Statutory Policies/Regulations.
Establishing the need for the Call on Self-Regulation Initiative, Nigeria Network of NGOs with her robust track record of advocacy work in key national and international fora is promoting and administering ethical and effective development practice amongst her Members, Community Based Organizations (CBOs), and Business Membership Organizations (BMOs).
The #SCALEPROJECT overall program goal is to improve the policy and regulatory enabling environment for civil society, which will be achieved by expanding opportunities for CSOs to participate in reviewing the legal and institutional framework of CSO Regulatory Policies.
